CCW on "The Unit"
The Unit is already my new favorite show, but it keeps getting better for me. On last nights episode, one of the female characters was shown carrying a pistol and as a permit holder. Because it was network TV I was expecting typical anti gun bias, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a positive defensive use of a gun later in the episode. Anyhow I recommend the Unit to anyone who is looking for a somewhat realistic action/drama show.

I only saw the pilot, and didn’t really like it. I guess I didn’t like the way they used U.S. Special Forces for a clandestine operation within the U.S., when a SWAT Team would have sufficed (and been constitutional). I guess it was just a little too much for me.
Yeah the writers never seem to have heard of the posse comitatus law.
I need to watch it again, sometimes the pilot is the worst episode.
